Specifically engineered for the most demanding electrical environments, this new fabric line delivers industry-leading arc-flash protection in an ultra-lightweight, 100% polyester-free construction. By focusing on ergonomic safety, URIM-SPARK ensures that high-voltage workers no longer have to sacrifice mobility for maximum security.
The URIM-SPARK line offers two specialized solutions designed for different levels of thermal hazard:
- URIM-SPARK (150 g/m²): When combined with our KORL-PA5 quilted liner, this 350 g/m² assembly achieves a remarkable ATPV of 42 cal/cm² (ASTM F 1506). It is the ultimate lightweight shield for high-category arc hazards.
- URIM-SPARK 175 (175 g/m²): Engineered as a high-performance single layer, it provides ATPV 9.6 cal/cm² and ELIM 8.8 cal/cm² (EN 61482-1-1).
Exceptional Mechanical Performance: Despite their light weight, these fabrics are built for extreme durability:
- Durability: URIM-SPARK 175 features an incredible abrasion resistance of 82,000 cycles (ISO 12947-2).
- Strength: High tensile strength (900N warp) and tear strength ensure the garment survives the toughest industrial conditions.
- Stability: Superior color fastness and low shrinkage (+/- 3%) maintain professional standards throughout the garment’s life.
