ANGE: High Comfort Liner for Rapid Response

The ANGE liner technology is specifically engineered to solve the two greatest challenges in firefighter turnout gear: heat stress and restricted mobility. While many traditional liners create drag against base layers, ANGE is designed with a specialized high-glide surface that ensures a frictionless interface between the wearer and their protective equipment.

The “Glide” Advantage (Rapid Donning & Ergonomics): In emergency response, every second counts. The hallmark of ANGE technology is its ultra-smooth, high-glide finish. This low-friction design allows firefighters to gear up instantly, enabling a seamless “glide” into heavy jackets and trousers without the fabric catching on undergarments. Once in the field, this surface provides unparalleled ease of movement, reducing the mechanical resistance (drag) that contributes to physical fatigue during demanding tasks.

Technical Composition: Aramid & Lenzing™ FR: The superior performance of ANGE is rooted in its sophisticated material blend:

  • Aramid: Provides the critical strength, structural integrity, and thermal stability required for frontline protection.
  • Lenzing™ FR: A high-content cellulosic fiber that provides exceptional moisture management and a soft, natural feel against the skin. This inherent flame-resistant (FR) blend ensures that protection is permanent and will never wash out or degrade, regardless of the number of industrial laundry cycles.

Advanced Heat & Moisture Management: ANGE acts as the “breathing” layer of the PPE system. It utilizes an evaporative cooling effect to transport moisture away from the body. By maintaining a low resistance to sweat evaporation (RET 3.11 m²/Pa/W), it significantly reduces the risk of heat-related cardiovascular strain, keeping the wearer dry and focused under pressure.

Sustainability: ANGE-GREEN: As part of Tekstina’s commitment to the circular economy, we offer ANGE-GREEN. This sustainable variant incorporates 33% recycled aramid fibers derived from textile waste. ANGE-GREEN meets the same rigorous EN ISO 11612 and EN 469 standards as the original, providing eco-responsible protection with the same high-glide performance.
