AGNI: Multi-Hazard Protection for Frontline Safety

Named after the Hindu god of fire, AGNI is Tekstina’s premier outer shell fabric developed for the high-intensity demands of firefighting and technical rescue. While its primary mission is heat and flame protection, AGNI is engineered as an all-in-one safety solution, safeguarding professionals against electric arc, chemical splashes, and mechanical hazards like tearing and abrasion.

Unparalleled Multi-Norm Compliance: AGNI is designed to meet and exceed the most stringent international safety standards. It provides a versatile solution for a variety of sectors, ensuring that one garment can handle multiple risks. Key certifications include:

  • EN 469 & EN 15384: Wildland and structural firefighting.
  • EN 61482-1-1: Electric Arc protection (ATPV=9,3 cal/cm²).
  • EN 13034: Liquid chemical protection.
  • EN ISO 11611 & 11612: Welding, heat, and flame resistance.
  • EN 1149-5: Anti-static properties.

AGNI-PRO: Durability Meets High Visibility: The AGNI-PRO variant takes protection a step further by integrating high-visibility features compliant with EN ISO 20471. This makes it the ideal choice for first responders, law enforcement, and utility workers who operate in low-light conditions or high-traffic road environments. Despite its heavy-duty protection, AGNI-PRO remains remarkably lightweight, offering the same strength as much heavier alternatives without the added bulk.

Engineered for the Long Haul: Technical garments are an investment in safety. AGNI is built to withstand the rigors of the field:

  • High Tear & Abrasion Resistance: Protects the wearer from sharp materials and rough terrain while extending the life of the garment.
  • Color Retention: Engineered for superior light fastness and wash resistance, ensuring the fabric maintains its professional appearance and high-visibility status even after 25+ industrial maintenance cycles.
  • Ergonomic Comfort: A specialized weave that provides a pleasant wearing experience, allowing heroes to focus on the task at hand rather than their gear.

Ideal Applications:

  • Fire & Rescue Services: Structural, wildland, and technical rescue teams.
  • Power & Utilities: Protection against electric arc and flash fire.
  • Oil, Gas & Chemical: Resistance to liquid chemicals and high-heat environments.
  • Rail & Infrastructure: High-visibility multi-norm protection for trackside maintenance.
